    Order Confirmation:

    As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email.  This means we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on back order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via email.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. 

    Shipping:

    Here at Roof Top Tents Official, we offer free shipping on all order totals over $300 and will only apply to orders in the contingent United States.  Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will have varying shipping costs depending on the manufacturer.  Shipping costs for product totals under $300 will incur a shipping fee.

    Please make sure to indicate any special shipping requirements such as residential area or lift gate service in the note section of your cart before you click checkout so we can make sure your needs are met since most items are shipped via freight!

    Once you place your order, make sure you give a good contact number so the freight carrier can contact you to set up a delivery time.  If they cannot get in touch with you, they will not be able to deliver your shipment.  With freight deliveries, you must be present to sign and inspect the shipment.  Please review the “Receiving Your Shipment” section below before signing any paperwork from the freight courier!

    Receiving Your Shipment:

    Please make sure you thoroughly inspect your package for damage prior to signing any paperwork.

    Each product is carefully packaged, inspected, and labeled before it is shipped out.  Each package is properly conditioned for transportation according to the applicable regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

    Please make sure you do all of the following below before signing the paperwork to receive your package.  Once the paperwork is signed, the package becomes your property which means our liability will end from any shipping damages. 

    • Before signing any paperwork, please carefully inspect the package(s) for any loss or damage. A key thing to look for are punctures in the packaging.
    • If any product(s) appear to be damaged, make sure you refuse the delivery. If you refuse the shipment, it will be sent back to us for processing and inspection.
    • Take note of any freight loss or damage on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves. Make sure to include details of the damage and take any necessary photos.
    • Make sure to get a copy of the signed delivery paperwork that shows the freight loss or damage notation.
    • Please contact Roof Top Tents Official right away by phone at (800) 650-9970 or email us at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com if you refuse the shipment.

    ** If freight loss or damage is not noted during the delivery, Roof Top Tents Official cannot be held liable for any replacement costs related to the shipment.  Please protect yourself from this by inspecting before you sign the paperwork! **

    For failure to receive the shipment on the first delivery attempt, any additional fees or charges will be the responsibility of the customer to pay to the shipping company.

    Returns:

    Our return policy is subject to the terms and conditions of each individual manufacturer.  Please contact us to make any returns or submit a damage claim.  Below is the return policy for each of our manufacturers.  There are no returns on closeout items, items on sale, or discontinued products.  Please allow 30 days to process product returns.

    ** Please do not send your products back to the manufacturer.  Instead, please contact Roof Top Tents Official at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com first so we can arrange the return for you. **

    23Zero:

    • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase.
    • The product must be unopened and unused (brand new condition).
    • Once the item is received, it will be assessed and if requirements are met, then a full refund (minus shipping) will be issued.
    • Under all circumstances, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.  The product must also be sufficiently packaged to make sure no further damage occurs while in transit.  Any additional damage to the product will need to be worked out between you and the freight company.
    • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

    ARB:

    • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
    • Products must be undamaged and unused in the original box.
    • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.
    • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

    Bigfoot Tents:

    • Returns will only be accepted if the product is defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase.
    • Fulfillment mistakes that Bigfoot Tents makes resulting in the shipment of the incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase.
    • Shipping costs are included in the price unless you cancel your order after it ships.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Charges related to canceled orders are assumed by the purchaser through as 25% of total order restock.

    Bundutec:

    • Returns are accepted within 30 days of original receipt date.
    • Product must be unused, unaltered, and free of damages in original the original box.
    • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item.
    • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

    Darche:

    • The product must be unopened and unused ( brand new)
    • It must be within 30 days of purchase.
    • Once Darche receives your item, they will assess and if requirements are met a full refund (minus shipping) will be issued.  Under all circumstance the owner must assume the responsibility for the cost of return freight. Ensuring product if sufficiently picked so no further damage during freight will occur, as further damage is between owner and freight company.
    • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

    Front Runner:

    • The product can be returned for any reason within 30 days of purchase.
    • All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories.
    • After 30 days, non-warranty related returns are at the sole discretion of Front Runner Outfitters.  A restocking fee may apply.
    • If you would like to make a return, please contact us first so we can arrange to have an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number) created for you.
    • If the reason for return is not a result of a Front Runner Outfitters error, shipping costs, if any, incurred by Front Runner may be deducted from your refund.  Please note: if you return an item and did not originally pay shipping costs, the original shipping cost incurred by Front Runner Outfitters will be deducted from your refund.
    • If the returned products are not in new, re-sellable condition - a repackaging, restocking, and/or damaged goods fee of up to 30% of the product value may be deducted from the refund. We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care. If you need advice on how to pack the gear, or need additional packaging materials, contact us. Assume the worst. Shipping companies may actually be using apes to move boxes through their distribution centers. Not an alternative fact.
    • It generally takes 3 – 5 days after the package arrives at our warehouse for your return to be processed and credit to be issued to your card. As soon as the return is processed you’ll get an email confirmation.
    • If you'd like to exchange your items for something else please return them to us for a refund and place a new order for the product you want at the same time.
    • When choosing a shipper to return products, keep in mind that we cannot be held liable or responsible for items lost in transit. We recommend using a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance.
    • Please print your RMA clearly on the shipping label. Thank you!
    • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

    HITents

    • HITents does not accept returns on any products.  All sales are final.
    • HITents provides a 2 year manufacturers warranty on their tents.  This covers any defects in material or manufacturing. HITents will repair or replace at their discretion any items that prove to be defective at no cost to you. This does not extend to normal ware and tare, cosmetic blemishes sustained during use or damage caused by improper use, improper cleaning, or improper storage. If the whole tent needs to be returned for repair/replacement or inspection, the costs and liability associated with that is the responsibility of the customer.
    • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

    iKamper:

    • iKamper does not accept returns on any products.
    • They will replace any defective part for free for 2 years, and at production cost for 3 years after that.

    Odin Designs:

    • If an item needs to be returned that is not under warranty, return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer along with a 25% restocking fee.
    • The product must be unused in its original packaging and condition.

    Overland Pros:

    • Returns will be accepted on any part if it is unused, not damaged, and in its original package within 30 days of purchase. There will be no refunds or credits after 30 days of purchase.
    • You will get an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number), which must clearly be marked on the outside of the package.
    • All returns without an RMA # will be refused and returned to the sender.
    • If you are missing parts, or have damaged parts in a shipment, please report within 3 days of delivery.
    • Return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer as well as a 25% restocking fee.

      Roost: 

      • Roost does not accept returns on any products.
      • They will warrant your roof top tent to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase.  Roost will, at its opinion, repair or replace the defective component without charge or pay to have it repaired by a qualified service provider in the particular business of the repair required.  The customer must provide digital images showing conclusive proof of the defect and submit proof of date of the original purchase.  The warranty will not be covered unless the last two items are completed.  This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, tampering, unreasonable use or normal ware and tear.

      Smittybilt:

      • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
      • Products must be undamaged and unused in the original box.
      • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.
      • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

      TentBox:

      • You can return TentBox products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
      • The TentBox must be unused in its original packaging and condition.
      • We will arrange the collection for a fair price, but you must cover the costs.
      • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

      Tepui:

      • You can return Tepui products within 30 days of purchase.
      • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs.
      • There will be a 15% restocking fee.
      • Tepui will accept returns of products with manufacturer defects (at their discretion) free of charge.
      • If the shipment is refused due to damage, make sure you refuse the delivery.  You will not be liable for the shipping cost in this case. 
      • If you accept the delivery and do not check for damage before accepting it, Tepui and Roof Top Tents Official will not be liable for those damages. 
      • This is very important! Please make sure you inspect the package before signing to accept the delivery.  Please refuse the delivery if you find any damage to the product.

      TJM:

      • If a shipment of a product in perfect condition due to a customer changing their mind, the customer will incur a 20% restocking fee in addition to any storage or returned freight charges.
      • All returned merchandise for credits must referance a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before being returned, no exceptions.  These are obtained by contacting TJM's warehouse department.
      • Returns must be accompanied by a detailed packing slip listing the RGA number, company name, part numbers of products returned and reason for return of each product.
      • All returns must be sent freight pre-paid.  Freight collect shipments will be refused.
      • All returns must be properly insured by the customer against shipping damage.
      • All merchandise returned must be in perfect, re-sellable condition for full credit.  Merchandise that is not in re-sellable condition will be assessed up to a 30% restocking fee, based on the condition of the product as received.  Please note that most returns will be assessed a re-packaging fee as most returns will require repackaging.
      • All items to be returned must be listed on the current price sheet.  Obsolete or discontinued parts will not be accepted.
      • TJM must deem defective products defective before being issued the credit or refund.
      • TJM and Roof Top Tents Official is not responsible for any freight charges, incidental or consequential costs associated with the repair or replacement of defective products. 

      To Claim a Return for a Defective Item:

      • If there is damage from the shipping courier, refuse the shipment and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible! (Make sure to thoroughly inspect the condition of your product from the shipping courier before signing the paperwork.)
      • You must provide pictures showing definitive proof of the defect.
      • You must provide proof of the date of original purchase.
      • Returns do not apply to products that are damaged from an accident, misuse and abuse, tampering, unreasonable use, or normal wear and tear.

      Refunds (if applicable):

      Once your returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you via email that we have received your returned product.  We will also notify you whether the product has been approved or rejected for a refund.  The approval process depends on the inspection made by Roof Top Tents Official and the manufacturer regarding any defects or damages.

      If approved, your refund will be processed, and your payment will automatically be refunded to your credit card or original method of payment.  Please allow 30 days to process product returns.

      Partial refunds can be granted in certain situations (if applicable):

      • If an item is returned more than 30 days after delivery date.
      • If an item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to Roof Top Tents Official or the manufacturer’s error.

      Roof Top Tents Official and the manufacturers reserve the right to fix your product with a replacement part before giving out a full refund.

      If you do not receive your refund within 30 days of approval, please contact your Credit Card Company or bank.  Some refunds take longer than others to be officially posted due to processing.

      If you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com and we will see what the issue is.

      Sale items cannot be refunded.  Please make sure your product was purchased at regular price before starting the return process.

      In cases where the products are on backorder or out of stock, we will let you know before we process the purchase and work out the best possible solution to make sure your adventuring needs are met.

      Receiving Your Shipment:

      Please make sure you thoroughly inspect your package for damage prior to signing any paperwork.

      Each product is carefully packaged, inspected, and labeled before it is shipped out.  Each package is properly conditioned for transportation according to the applicable regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

      Please make sure you do all of the following below before signing the paperwork to receive your package.  Once the paperwork is signed, the package becomes your property which means our liability will end from any shipping damages. 

      • Before signing any paperwork, please carefully inspect the package(s) for any loss or damage. A key thing to look for are punctures in the packaging.
      • If any product(s) appear to be damaged, make sure you refuse the delivery. If you refuse the shipment, it will be sent back to us for processing and inspection.
      • Take note of any freight loss or damage on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves. Make sure to include details of the damage and take any necessary photos.
      • Make sure to get a copy of the signed delivery paperwork that shows the freight loss or damage notation.
      • Please contact Roof Top Tents Official right away by phone at (800) 650-9970 or email us at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com if you refuse the shipment.

      ** If freight loss or damage is not noted during the delivery, Roof Top Tents Official cannot be held liable for any replacement costs related to the shipment.  Please protect yourself from this by inspecting before you sign the paperwork! **

      For failure to receive the shipment on the first delivery attempt, any additional fees or charges will be the responsibility of the customer to pay to the shipping company.

      Returns:

      Our return policy is subject to the terms and conditions of each individual manufacturer.  Please contact us to make any returns or submit a damage claim.  Below is the return policy for each of our manufacturers.  There are no returns on closeout items, items on sale, or discontinued products.  Please allow 30 days to process product returns.

      ** Please do not send your products back to the manufacturer.  Instead, please contact Roof Top Tents Official at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com first so we can arrange the return for you. **

      23Zero:

      • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase.
      • The product must be unopened and unused (brand new condition).
      • Once the item is received, it will be assessed and if requirements are met, then a full refund (minus shipping) will be issued.
      • Under all circumstances, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.  The product must also be sufficiently packaged to make sure no further damage occurs while in transit.  Any additional damage to the product will need to be worked out between you and the freight company.
      • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

      ARB:

      • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
      • Products must be undamaged and unused in the original box.
      • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.
      • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

      Bigfoot Tents:

      • Returns will only be accepted if the product is defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase.
      • Fulfillment mistakes that Bigfoot Tents makes resulting in the shipment of the incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase.
      • Shipping costs are included in the price unless you cancel your order after it ships.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Charges related to canceled orders are assumed by the purchaser through as 25% of total order restock.

      Bundutec:

      • Returns are accepted within 30 days of original receipt date.
      • Product must be unused, unaltered, and free of damages in original the original box.
      • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item.
      • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

      Darche:

      • The product must be unopened and unused ( brand new)
      • It must be within 30 days of purchase.
      • Once Darche receives your item, they will assess and if requirements are met a full refund (minus shipping) will be issued.  Under all circumstance the owner must assume the responsibility for the cost of return freight. Ensuring product if sufficiently picked so no further damage during freight will occur, as further damage is between owner and freight company.
      • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

      Front Runner:

      • The product can be returned for any reason within 30 days of purchase.
      • All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories.
      • After 30 days, non-warranty related returns are at the sole discretion of Front Runner Outfitters.  A restocking fee may apply.
      • If you would like to make a return, please contact us first so we can arrange to have an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number) created for you.
      • If the reason for return is not a result of a Front Runner Outfitters error, shipping costs, if any, incurred by Front Runner may be deducted from your refund.  Please note: if you return an item and did not originally pay shipping costs, the original shipping cost incurred by Front Runner Outfitters will be deducted from your refund.
      • If the returned products are not in new, re-sellable condition - a repackaging, restocking, and/or damaged goods fee of up to 30% of the product value may be deducted from the refund. We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care. If you need advice on how to pack the gear, or need additional packaging materials, contact us. Assume the worst. Shipping companies may actually be using apes to move boxes through their distribution centers. Not an alternative fact.
      • It generally takes 3 – 5 days after the package arrives at our warehouse for your return to be processed and credit to be issued to your card. As soon as the return is processed you’ll get an email confirmation.
      • If you'd like to exchange your items for something else please return them to us for a refund and place a new order for the product you want at the same time.
      • When choosing a shipper to return products, keep in mind that we cannot be held liable or responsible for items lost in transit. We recommend using a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance.
      • Please print your RMA clearly on the shipping label. Thank you!

      HITents

      • HITents does not accept returns on any products.  All sales are final.
      • HITents provides a 2 year manufacturers warranty on their tents.  This covers any defects in material or manufacturing. HITents will repair or replace at their discretion any items that prove to be defective at no cost to you. This does not extend to normal ware and tare, cosmetic blemishes sustained during use or damage caused by improper use, improper cleaning, or improper storage. If the whole tent needs to be returned for repair/replacement or inspection, the costs and liability associated with that is the responsibility of the customer.
      • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

      iKamper:

      • iKamper does not accept returns on any products.
      • They will replace any defective part for free for 2 years, and at production cost for 3 years after that.

      Odin Designs:

      • If an item needs to be returned that is not under warranty, return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer along with a 25% restocking fee.
      • The product must be unused in its original packaging and condition.

      Overland Pros:

      • Returns will be accepted on any part if it is unused, not damaged, and in its original package within 30 days of purchase. There will be no refunds or credits after 30 days of purchase.
      • You will get an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number), which must clearly be marked on the outside of the package.
      • All returns without an RMA # will be refused and returned to the sender.
      • If you are missing parts, or have damaged parts in a shipment, please report within 3 days of delivery.
      • Return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer as well as a 25% restocking fee.

        Roost: 

        • Roost does not accept returns on any products.
        • They will warrant your roof top tent to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase.  Roost will, at its opinion, repair or replace the defective component without charge or pay to have it repaired by a qualified service provider in the particular business of the repair required.  The customer must provide digital images showing conclusive proof of the defect and submit proof of date of the original purchase.  The warranty will not be covered unless the last two items are completed.  This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, tampering, unreasonable use or normal ware and tear.

        Smittybilt:

        • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
        • Products must be undamaged and unused in the original box.
        • You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.
        • There will be a 15% restocking fee.

        TentBox:

        • You can return TentBox products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
        • The TentBox must be unused in its original packaging and condition.
        • We will arrange the collection for a fair price, but you must cover the costs.
        • There will be a 10% restocking fee.

        Tepui:

        • You can return Tepui products within 30 days of purchase.
        • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs.
        • There will be a 15% restocking fee.
        • Tepui will accept returns of products with manufacturer defects (at their discretion) free of charge.
        • If the shipment is refused due to damage, make sure you refuse the delivery.  You will not be liable for the shipping cost in this case. 
        • If you accept the delivery and do not check for damage before accepting it, Tepui and Roof Top Tents Official will not be liable for those damages. 
        • This is very important! Please make sure you inspect the package before signing to accept the delivery.  Please refuse the delivery if you find any damage to the product.

        TJM:

        • If a shipment of a product in perfect condition due to a customer changing their mind, the customer will incur a 20% restocking fee in addition to any storage or returned freight charges.
        • All returned merchandise for credits must referance a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before being returned, no exceptions.  These are obtained by contacting TJM's warehouse department.
        • Returns must be accompanied by a detailed packing slip listing the RGA number, company name, part numbers of products returned and reason for return of each product.
        • All returns must be sent freight pre-paid.  Freight collect shipments will be refused.
        • All returns must be properly insured by the customer against shipping damage.
        • All merchandise returned must be in perfect, re-sellable condition for full credit.  Merchandise that is not in re-sellable condition will be assessed up to a 30% restocking fee, based on the condition of the product as received.  Please note that most returns will be assessed a re-packaging fee as most returns will require repackaging.
        • All items to be returned must be listed on the current price sheet.  Obsolete or discontinued parts will not be accepted.
        • TJM must deem defective products defective before being issued the credit or refund.
        • TJM and Roof Top Tents Official is not responsible for any freight charges, incidental or consequential costs associated with the repair or replacement of defective products. 

        To Claim a Return for a Defective Item:

        • If there is damage from the shipping courier, refuse the shipment and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible! (Make sure to thoroughly inspect the condition of your product from the shipping courier before signing the paperwork.)
        • You must provide pictures showing definitive proof of the defect.
        • You must provide proof of the date of original purchase.
        • Returns do not apply to products that are damaged from an accident, misuse and abuse, tampering, unreasonable use, or normal wear and tear.

        Refunds (if applicable):

        Once your returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you via email that we have received your returned product.  We will also notify you whether the product has been approved or rejected for a refund.  The approval process depends on the inspection made by Roof Top Tents Official and the manufacturer regarding any defects or damages.

        If approved, your refund will be processed, and your payment will automatically be refunded to your credit card or original method of payment.  Please allow 30 days to process product returns.

        Partial refunds can be granted in certain situations (if applicable):

        • If an item is returned more than 30 days after delivery date.
        • If an item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to Roof Top Tents Official or the manufacturer’s error.

        Roof Top Tents Official and the manufacturers reserve the right to fix your product with a replacement part before giving out a full refund.

        If you do not receive your refund within 30 days of approval, please contact your Credit Card Company or bank.  Some refunds take longer than others to be officially posted due to processing.

        If you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com and we will see what the issue is.

        Sale items cannot be refunded.  Please make sure your product was purchased at regular price before starting the return process.

        If you would like to exchange your product for a similar item (if applicable), please contact us at info@rooftoptentsofficial.com and we will help you get your item exchanged.  Please note that shipping costs may apply.

        Here at Roof Top Tents Official, we work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online.  If you find another online store that offers a lower price than us within three months of your purchase date please let us know and we will refund your original payment for the difference.  

        We want you to feel confident that you are getting the absolute best price for the product that you are ordering.  If you find that our own website has a lower price for the same item you have ordered within three months of your purchase date will refund the difference as well.
